| Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of information Act| 5 ILCS § 140/1 et. seq.| I request from Hinsdale School District 86 the following: 1) Contracts entered into on or after January 1| 2021 with employees| agents| consultants and advisers of any kind concerning: a) the hiring or retention of the Hinsdale School District 86 Director of Institutional Equity and b) the adoption| implementation| training| study| communication or teaching in District 86 (whether or not part of formal curriculum) of any of the following: “culturally-responsive teaching standards|” “Critical Race Theory|” “equity and inclusion|” “culturally-responsive curriculum|” “culturally-responsive teaching practices|” “culturally-responsive learning practices|” “1619 Project|” “white privilege|” “intersectionality|” “microaggressions|” or “anti- racism”. 2) For the period commencing on and after January 1| 2021| Internal and external communications in any medium| memoranda| training manuals| reports| strategic plans| minutes of meetings of any board| committee| subcommittee or task force| analyses| studies| research| and presentations in each case that concern any of the following: a) the hiring or retention of the Hinsdale School District 86 Director of Institutional Equity and b) the adoption| implementation| training| study| communication or teaching in District 86 (whether or not part of formal curriculum) of any of the following: “culturally-responsive teaching standards|” “Critical Race Theory|” “equity and inclusion|” “culturally-responsive curriculum|” “culturally-responsive teaching practices|” “culturally-responsive learning practices|” “1619 Project|” “white privilege|” “intersectionality|” “microaggressions|” or “anti- racism”. As used in this request| the terms “agents| consultants and advisers” include| without limitation| outside firms (whether or not organized for profit)| think tanks| charitable foundations| schools of any level| public and private universities and educational institutions| in each case whether or not receiving remuneration for services.
