| Please produce in PDF form copies of ALL multi-year employment contracts not previously produced for former Superintendent Bruce Law| including all amendments and/or exhibits to each contract that were appended at the time the contracts were executed or were required to be appended to the contract(s) on a yearly basis. Specifically: 1. Dr. Law’s first superintendent contract from October 7| 2013| through June 30| 2016| was already produced in response to FOIA R000599-110618| however| Exhibit 1 to the contract referenced in Paragraph 3 of the contract was not produced. This paragraph states: “3. STUDENT PERFORMANCE AND ACADEMIC IMPROVEMENT – This Contract is a performance-based contract. The SUPERINTENDENT shall address and fulfill student performance and academic improvement goals for the 2013-2014 school year which are attached to this Contract as Exhibit 1. Once the student performance and academic improvement goals have been attained| this Contract may be extended. For each succeeding school year| new student performance and academic improvement goals will be cooperatively developed and will be appended to this Contract and incorporated herein not later than September 1 of each subsequent year.” DOCUMENTS REQUESTED: Please produce original Exhibit 1 and for school years 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 the “new student performance and academic improvement goals” that were required to be appended and incorporated to the contract no later than September 1 of each subsequent year. 2. At the 11/16/2015 board meeting| the school board took corrective action to correct OMA violations and approve a contract extension for Dr. Law. The contract which was to be in force from 7/1/2015 through 6/30/2019 was posted on BoardDocs for the 11/16/2015 board meeting. Paragraph 3 of the contract states: “3. STUDENT PERFORMANCE AND ACADEMIC IMPROVEMENT – This Contract is a performance-based contract. The SUPERINTENDENT shall address and fulfill student performance and academic improvement goals which are attached to this Contract as Exhibit 1. Once the student performance and academic improvement goals have been attained| this Contract may be Page 2 of 10 extended. For each succeeding school year| new student performance and academic improvement goals will be cooperatively developed and will be appended to this Contract and incorporated herein not later than September 1 of each subsequent year.” Exhibit 1 which sets forth the goals Dr. Law was to achieve was attached to the contract posted on the 11/16/2015 board docs. DOCUMENTS REQUESTED: Please produce for school years 2015-2016| 2016-2017 and 2017-2019 the “new student performance and academic improvement goals” that were required to be appended and incorporated to the contract no later than September 1 of each subsequent year. 3. At the 9/17/2018 board meeting| a third superintendent contract was approved with Dr. Law. The contract was to be in force from July 1| 2019| through June 30| 2022. This contract was not posted on the D86 website or on BoardDocs. DOCUMENTS REQUESTED: Please produce Dr. Law’s superintendent’s contract approved at the 9/17/2018 board meeting| including all Addendum or Exhibits – including but not limited to annual student performance and academic performance goals – that were required to be appended and incorporated to the contract at any point during the term of the contract. |
