See Illinois School Student Records Act| 105 ILCS 10/1 et seq.| Family Education Rights and Privacy Act| 20 U.S.C. § 1232g; and their implementing rules and regulations. The District also redacted personal information whose disclosure would constitute an unwarranted invasion of privacy. 5 ILCS 140/7(1)(c). Lastly| the District redacted signatures as “private information” exempt from disclosure under FOIA Section 7(1)(b). 5 ILCS 140/7(1)(b). |
